The history of the college begins on October 1, 1940, when by the resolution of the Council of Ministers of the USSR the craft school of communication No. 7 was founded. A new page in the chronicles of the College of Radio Engineering and Communications opened with the arrival of Director Oralhan Imangalievich Sartayev. He pioneered the latest transformations and good traditions of the college. The pedagogical staff of the college was mainly formed in the 1960s-1980s. Teachers of those years laid a solid foundation for educational work.
The material and technical base has never developed so rapidly: training rooms and laboratories equipped with computers of the latest generation, Internet technology office, training and production building. The work of the pedagogical team is meaningful and multifaceted.
The educational process provides more than 44 qualified engineering and pedagogical workers, of whom 47% have the first and highest categories, 2-academic master ‘s degree, 1-academic degree of Candidate of Philological Sciences. The activities of teachers are aimed at finding ways to improve the educational process: curricula are being created, classes are being held using modern pedagogical technologies (ICT, modular block, game, project technologies). Such a system of education allows to expand the scope of traditional educational and educational process, as it is aimed at maximum provision of comprehensive development of the student. Teachers use computers to carry out frontier knowledge control, examinations, to prepare initial data in course and diploma design. Methodological work is aimed at solving topical tasks: improving the quality of vocational education, finding effective ways to train specialists. A worthy place in the system of methodical service is occupied by educational and methodical products of teachers, created in recent years and accessible to students and members of pedagogical team in virtual methodical office. Production practices are an integral part of the educational process. Business relationships with businesses allow students to acquire professional knowledge and skills.
