REPUBLICAN RATING OF COLLEGES: RESULTS OF THE 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR COLLEGE OF RADIO ENGINEERING AND COMMUNICATIONS 2ND PLACE

Since 2017, in order to assess the ability of colleges to provide students with high quality education, compare their results and create additional motivation to improve the quality of educational services provided, the TVET has been annually rating colleges in the country.

In 2021, the Company conducted a rating of colleges based on the results of the 2019-2020 academic year according to the Methodology for rating organizations of the Type of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the President of the Company on 11.03.2021. The methodology provides 5 sections and 38 criteria:

1) the quality of the activities, 25 points (main criteria: the presence of institutional and specialized accreditation, implementation of new educational programs, textbooks, supplementary materials for DOT, the quality management system, etc.);

2) professional staff of 15 points (teachers, completed courses of PC, the presence of PhD doctors, candidates of Sciences, the qualitative composition, etc.);

3) interaction with the business community, 30 points (data on the employment of graduates, dual training, etc.);

4) participation in the WorldSkills project and other innovative projects, 15 points;

5) contingent of students, 15 points (safety of the contingent, quality of academic performance, participation in events, etc.).

131 colleges took part in the Republican ranking.

The College of Radio Engineering and Communications participated in the profile “Information and Communication Technologies” and scored 68.62 points.
